The action that unfolded at Wimbledon in 2023 will live long in memory. Those fortunate enough to be at The Championships for the Men’s Wimbledon Final saw the dawn of a new era on the men’s tour when Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz lifted the title. 

Despite falling behind twice in the match, the 20-year-old won his first Wimbledon title in a five-set match with Novak Djokovic that will go down alongside some of the greatest finals ever played at Wimbledon.  

In the women’s draw, unexpected twists and turns ultimately favoured Markéta Vondroušová, who emerged as only the third Czech woman to claim the illustrious Venus Rosewater Dish. The tournament also provided heart-warming moments, including USA’s Christopher Eubanks’ remarkable journey to the Quarter Finals and Andy Murray’s triumph in an all-British face-off against Ryan Peniston on Centre Court during the opening week. 

As we begin to turn attention to the next incredible two weeks of The Championships at the beginning of July 2024, Novak Djokovic and Ons Jabeur will both be out for revenge after falling agonisingly short in their finals. Meanwhile both sides of the draw possess a plethora of amazing young talents, including Jannik Sinner and Coco Gauff, looking to create their own piece of history at the oldest tennis tournament in the world.
