The last time England played Pakistan in a T20 match was in the 2022 T20 World Cup final, with Sam Curran being star of the show as England went on to lift the trophy for the second time in the history of the competition.

This match serves as a warm up for the 2024 T20 World Cup in West Indies and United States, where England will look to defend their title.
