Charlton Hunt Restaurant

The Charlton Hunt was the earliest recorded foxhunt in the country. Its fame for superb sport drew the elite of society, including the 1st Duke of Richmond who bought Goodwood as a place to stay to go hunting and entertain his friends. That heritage has inspired The Charlton Hunt, an entertaining space with far reaching views to Charlton and an al a carte menu celebrating the finest local produce.

With accents of walnut and marble, the dining room is hung with photographs by celebrated fashion photographer Uli Weber, taken on the day the Charlton Hunt was recreated for the first time in over 250 years.

This fine dining restaurant boasts a prime location within the Richmond Enclosure making it the perfect place to impress your guests.

When the racing begins, take a glass of Champagne out onto the balcony to soak up the views of the winning post and the unbeatable atmosphere as you cheer the winner home.

Final Furlong Restaurant

 

A relaxing base for the day, with thrilling course-side views. In a prime viewing position alongside the final furlong, this aptly named light and airy pavilion is one of the best spots to watch the drama on the track unfold at the Qatar Goodwood Festival.

Guests can enjoy uninterrupted views of the climatic stages of each race. Enjoy beautiful views across the South Downs from a large sun-soaked private balcony and dine from a delicious seasonal menu inspired by the best British produce.

The Long View

Located at the foot of the historic ‘Trundle hill’, the Long View takes in the surrounding landscapes from picture windows and offers an unrivalled view down the Goodwood home straight.

A vibrant and contemporary space, the Long View is perfect for informal entertaining and makes a spacious base for the day to watch the horses gallop across the finish line.

Enjoy a buffet-style menu of delightful dishes which celebrates local produce including British and Continental charcuterie, Goodwood estate roast beef and Goodwood Charlton cheese and chive tart.

Sussex Stand Boxes

With its iconic peaked roof, the distinctive the Sussex Boxes are situated on the first floor of the Sussex Stand, within the Gordon Enclosure, the course-facing Sussex Boxes enjoy stunning views of the Racecourse and South Downs beyond.

The resident tipster will be on hand throughout the day to talk through the runners and riders, whilst you and your guests enjoy the racing from the private balcony as the drama unfolds on the track.

The Sussex Stand Boxes are suitable for groups of 16 guests.
