2024 Defender Burghley Horse Trials

Burghley House Saturday 31 August 2024

Set within the beautiful parklands of Burghley House, the Defender Burghley Horse Trials offers exclusive entertaining facilities at its prime location against the backdrop of the magnificent Elizabethan Burghley House.

Despite the sport being known as ‘Three Day Eventing’ originally, the Burghley Horse Trials takes place over four days: the first two days are dressage, followed by cross-country and then the show jumping round on the final day.

In 2023 Olympic champion Oliver Townend has won his third title at Burghley House, having previously won in 2017 and 2009.
